You recently went on a trip with your friend and you both took some photographs.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter

  • Ask your friend to send you one of the photographs
  • Explain why you need that particular photograph
  • And tell your friend what happened to your copy of it

Write at least 150 words. You need not write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows,

Dear_______,

Answer:

Dear Sameer,

I hope you find this letter in good health. I still remember the last trip we had, last May to the jungles of Gir with our families.

En route we clicked numerous photographs of wild, but one of them which was the highlight of the endeavor was that of 10 lions together in the wee hours of the morning. Lions in India are rarefied and so, the photograph you clicked is a rare gem. I would be very happy to receive a raw copy of it.

I think this click will suit my son, Rohan’s latest science project on wildlife for the tenth standard.  Firstly, the photograph captures the beast in its full glory and secondly, the original work rather than just plagiarism work will elevate the quality of his project.

I still have a copy of it on my WhatssApp however, it is far from impressive to print it in the project. Moreover, the hard-copy shared with Rohan was misplaced in his school-bus. Even after multiple searches in school, the bus and at home we could not recover it.

I hope you find some time from your busy schedule to dispatch the raw copy as already mentioned. Call me if needed. See you on Suresh’s housewarming party in next week.

Thank you in advance.

Warm regards,

Ashish
