We meet many people in our office, who blow their interviews by not preparing well for question, “Why do you want to work with us?” They also complain, “You know, I have sent about 50 copies of my resume still no results”. Jobseekers must understand that seeking jobs is not mere a number game. It is not about how many resumes you sent or how many interviews you attended. It is how well you prepared your resume and what was your strategy for interview. Our advise is, don’t just hope to get success by distributing resumes.

If Rajat starts like, “Hmmm, well, I have applied to many companies and talked to many HRs, would you please elaborate in detail what were the responsibilities of the position?”, he has blown his chances. Hence you need planning. Before going to strategy to answer this question let’s look at why is this question asked at all?
